A mermaid for mermay! ✨ Even though I don't have the strength nor the health to draw a mermaid everyday, I wanted to draw at least one.

This girl is based on myself, and she loves painting water so much that she feels like she belongs to the sea, so she finally becomes a mermaid.

I *really* dislike water and the sea, but I also wanted to portray that feeling that some artists like myself have of getting so much into what we're drawing that we finally "become it".
